Dustin Johnson’s Doral Victory

Dustin Johnson’s Doral Victory

Even though Dustin Johnson’s image might give the impression of a country boy at the first glance; dressed up in shirts way too small for him, his rare and precious gift for simplicity cannot be missed or argued with.

With his victory at last week’s WGC - WGC-Cadillac Championship in Miami, Dustin managed to attract attention and admiration towards his success, raising questions about his future performances. This time, after a recent six-month absence from the PGA Tour (since he failed the 3rd drug test), he took a leap of faith competing for the 1.6million $ prize of the first place. Having the talent to make golf seem extremely easy and plain, Johnson won his right to be considered the new best American golf player.

His professional attitude is remarkable. It is surprising to see Dustin being able keep his calm even when it comes to extremely difficult shots. Dustin Johnson especially enjoyed the scene at the awards presentation, where the well known ‘good life’ symbols brought in evidence all the money and fame Johnson earned by winning this tournament.

The media couldn’t help searching deeper into Dustin’s life, raising as many questions as possible about his past absence. No matter how much the reporters insisted on it, Dustin Johnson denied any fail of a drug test. After all, after his impressive performance, showing his skill in impossible shots, the fans didn’t care much about the “messy” aspects of his life and enjoyed a big time show.
