Indee Park is the winner of the 2015 Volunteers of America North Texas Shootout

Indee Park said that she will win this tournament. On Sunday, she birdied the second and third holes and climbed to a lead. She took the Volunteers of America North Texas Shootout by 3 shots and she fired a 6 under par 65. This is her second victory on this event and this is her second victory in this season. Park won this event in 2013.

After the event, she said that she really likes this course, despite many golfers say that it is very tough. Park doesn’t know how she won it two times, but she did it. She played great on this court in last three years. In addition, Park said that the atmosphere and crowds are great.

In her final round, Park believed that 11 or 12 under par total would be enough for victory. She lost a two weeks ago on Sunday in Hawaii. Park watched as Sei Young Kim chipped in to force a playoff. Then, she watched how Kim dunked her second. Because of that, she didn’t believe that the tournament is hers until she managed her last birdie. After this, the Park celebrated her 14th LPGA title.

Park announced that everybody played well. Looking at the Leaderboard and at other golfers and their game, insipid Park to play even better. She didn’t want to make only 3 birdies, so she made more.

Hee Young Park and Cristie Kerr fired a 5 under par 66. Maria McBride had her best finish since 2011 and Lexi Thompson managed her best finish in this season.
